SPD cable is Teflon insulated, braid shielded
with electron impinging chloropolyethylene elastomer
jacket. The Teflon insulated wire can be used in
the range of temperature -155¡É to 200¡É This wire
provides excellent mechanical and chemical properties.
i.e. abrasion resistant, cut- through resistant, low
friction, adhesion-resistant, corrosive resistant,
and chemical fluid resistant. It is also excellent
for the electrical short because of the dielectric
of teflon. It is possible to make thin layer of
dielectric composed with another materials under
the same conditions. Thus the wire designation is
more compact. Since the jacket is made by impinging
electrons to chloropolyethylen elastomers, it can
be used in low temperature -55¡É to high temperature 150¡É
The material is a compound of flexible rubber and
plastic, which has the characteristic of the flame,
fluid, abrasion, and chemical resistances.
